Program assistant and community support –

Kristin completed the program in September 2021, and the free course several years ago. When she gets asked what she does «in her real-life», she responds that this is real-life for her. She is a preschool teacher and has worked in kindergarten and with youths for over 20 years. In the end, she got so bored that she resigned! Now she’s working on building her business so that she can work as a full-time translator (in addition to working with us at The Translator Academy).  

As a person, Kristin is creative, impatient, solution-focused, and value-driven. She’s a farmer in her heart. She is a true outdoor person who loves being out there growing her plants, climbing a mountaintop, and paddle her kayak.  

Fun facts about Kristin: She has had a visit from the famous lyricist Halldis Moren Vesaas and knows her way with a chainsaw.
